Upcoming fundraiser to support youth environmental education

On Thursday, September 28, Populuxe Brewing will host a fundraiser for YMCA Earth Service Corps, a an environmental education organization that works with youth in the Puget Sound region. The “Brew Can Make a Difference” will be held from 4:30 to 9pm at Populuxe (826B NW 49th St).

“The YMCA Earth Service Corps empowers local youth to become their community’s next environmental leaders through environmental education, leadership development, and service learning,” the organizers tell My Ballard. “They support environmental clubs in high schools across the Puget Sound Region, including Ballard High School.”
