If you’re meticulously planning out your Halloween weekend, here are a couple events to add to the list: Populuxe Brewing will be hosting a “Scareoke” Karaoke Party on Friday, Oct. 28, and a family-friendly Pre-Halloween Happy Hour on Sunday, Oct. 30.
The 2nd Annual Scareoke party will be from 8 to 11 pm on Friday night, including a costume contest with some Populuxe swag: 1st place gets a year membership to Populuxe’s Mug Club, 2nd place gets a Populuxe tee, trucker hat, and $50 gift certificate, and 3rd place gets a Populuxe growler and fill. They’ll have food truck Peasant Food Manifesto on hand for bites. “All guests are strongly requested to come in costume. Be there or be scared!” More info can be found here.
The Family Pre-Halloween Happy Hour on Sunday, Oct. 30 is from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, and will include candy corn bingo at 5:30, a costume contest at 6, and a Halloween movie at 6:30. They’ll have Chavoya’s Hot Dogs food truck on hand for dinner. More info can be found here.
