Friday, Dec. 1
- Join the inaugural holiday tree lighting at Ballard’s Verity branch with live caroling and refreshments, 6-8 p.m., 5711 24th Ave NW
- Live music:
- Petty for Puerto Rico, a Tom Petty Tribute Night, Conor Byrne, 8 p.m., $15/$18
- Zepparella and guests at Tractor Tavern, 7 and 11 p.m., $17.50

Saturday, Dec. 2
- The Phinney Center hosts the 37th Annual Winter Festival & Crafts Fair with 120 vendors, live entertainment and more, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, $4
- Dumbledore Santa and Harry Potter characters of all shapes and sizes visit a snow-covered Diagon Alley, 1-6 p.m., 7514 13th Ave NW
- Visit the Ballard Library for a free holiday concert performed by the Northwest Youth Harp Ensemble, 2-3 p.m., 5614 22nd Ave NW
- Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman attend Superhero Night at WildLights at the Woodland Park Zoo, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
- Live music:
- Jeff Austin Band, Spare Rib & The Bluegrass Sauce at the Tractor, 9 p.m., $16
- Hillstomp, The Crossroads Exchange, Dragstrip Riot at Sunset Tavern, 9 p.m., $12
Sunday, Dec. 3
- The Ballard Farmers Market will be open in Old Ballard, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- It’s the Annual Holiday Sale of Himalayan Handicrafts at the Sakya Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism, 108 NW 83rd St., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Dumbledore Santa and Harry Potter characters of all shapes and sizes visit a snow-covered Diagon Alley, 1-6 p.m., 7514 13th Ave NW
