After a call for volunteers, Sound Transit has selected the advisory group for the Ballard-West Seattle light rail project. The group’s first meeting is tonight from 5-8 p.m. in the board room at Union Station (401 St. Jackson St.) The public is welcome to listen in.
The roster of advisors includes Andres Arjona and Julia Park (community representatives from Ballard), Mike Stewart (Ballard Alliance) and Warren Aakervik (Ballard Oil and Seattle Freight Advisory board). Here’s the full list (.pdf).
The first Sound Transit open house on Ballard-West Seattle light rail project is February 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the Leif Erikson Lodge.
