Ballard Locks car prowlers located by police, arrested

Police have arrested two suspects who were car prowling at the Ballard Locks last weekend. The prowlers were found in a stolen vehicle later that day in a Northgate gas station.

When officers responded to the car prowling reports on Saturday, the suspects had left the area, but witnesses gave police the vehicle description and license plate number. The plate came back as a stolen plate from another vehicle.

About two hours later, the North Precinct Anti-Crime Team located the stolen vehicle, a Cadillac Escalade, at a gas station in Northgate. Two men and woman were detained and identified — the two men were found to have outstanding warrants for their arrests involving narcotics and identity theft, according to SPD. Several stolen items were found inside the vehicle, including stolen mail, checks, credit cards and IDs. Police also found 10 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin

The two men were booked into King County Jail, but the woman was released at the scene after being identified and interviewed. SPD then impounded the vehicle pending a warrant.

    1. Hi, thanks for your support! Actually, these don’t sound like our most vulnerable community members, instead, these sound like garden variety scum criminals. Of course, I would never say that to their faces! They might be experiencing joblessness, or ID-lessness. It’s not my or your place to judge. Let’s release them on bail asap, they were probably profiled anyway! Social Justice will insure these fine young men get back on the right track! Get woke, friend!

  1. Druggers – meth and heroin – involved in car prowls, car thefts, identity theft and other bad acts. Outstanding warrants. Imagine that. I guess you don’t even have to imagine, because it is TRUE!

      1. You sure are one dumb “fake(r).” You add no substantive content to a conversation while taking it entirely off point. Too bad the moderators don’t ban your sorry a$$.

That’s rich, considering your original comment that Fake replied to and pretty much every other comment you post on this blog.

          1. I gather “truth” really doesn’t bother you, Truth. Now, isn’t that rich?

          2. If being called fake bothers you, prove you’re not fakey mcsockpuppet. Go look at something you can’t know from looking online at twitter or a wsdot traffic camera or a news site. Tell us how many cars are parked & what color they are, on the block in front of Majestic Bay. Point out graffiti that wasn’t there yesterday. There’s any number of things that would be easy for us who are really here, and impossible for the phony sockpuppet troll who never sets foot on our streets.

Easy. Why don’t you prove it?

          3. I can tell you there’s giant pile of junkie hobo trash and shit by the BG Trail at Fred Meyer. You want a physical description of every dog baby on the #40 bus, too?

          4. The tents that were at the north fringe of the Commons yesterday are gone. That is after SDOT and Seattle Admin. Services gave them notices and told them to move yesterday. The bike skeleton pile camp at the east fringe is gone too. A bunch of LimeBikes (maybe 20) neatly placed at the SE corner of the Commons. QTip’s beater ’60’s Dodge is still in front of the Library (north side), has a couple flats, and a hole in the windshield that happened maybe a year ago. It’s been there for weeks, unmoved in a 2 hour parking zone. Two guys sleeping on Market today, one in the 1700 block, and another in the bus stop kiosk in front of BECU. Don’t know what happened to the chunky black dude with the dreadlocks that usually camps behind a recycle bin near Don Willis furniture. He was there yesterday, but not today. Yeah, I’m local with business ties to the community, where my tax dollars get pissed away.

          5. Hi, thanks for your support! A long-parked car you say? Why, nothing to worry about, it’s probably just a person experiencing drivelessness. He’s one of our most vulnerable community members, and his beater Dodge is his home. Get woke, friend! Vote Salty, Vote Mike O’Brine 2019!

          6. Oh, there are several long-parked cars around the Library, St. Lukes and The Commons. There is nobody living in the old beater Dodge. It just sits there unticketed for months on end. Sometimes it gets moved a few feet. Doubt it can be now with the flats. Does anyone know why it is not towed or ticketed?

These permanent street campers take up parking that is supposed to be for ALL the public – like Library users with vehicles to large for the underground parking.

          7. Come on, socky. Uff da could handle it. It’s easy for anybody who lives here. You don’t live here. Admit the truth.

          8. There! See? It’s that easy. That took you seconds.

Guess you faked out ‘Fake’ by walking and talking exactly the same as sockpuppet ‘Local Guy’/’Mike O’Brine’/’Unironic Lenin Statue’/etc. I don’t know why you’d want to be mistaken for that whiny loser, but that’s your deal.

Sockpuppet guy can’t do it. Can you? He hasn’t set foot or laid eyes on actual Ballard in years, if he ever has. Admit it, loser. You can’t do it.

Clearly they need restorative justice; as a society we have wronged these people-experiencing-low-credit-scores.

    1. Hi, thanks for your support. Big Hands Jenny and I both agree that free stuff is what’s needed for those not experiencing freedom! Get woke, friend! Your tax dollars help to re-elect those who know better than thee. Vote Salty, Vote O’Brine 2019!

    1. Surprisingly, the main perp is still in jail, according to the King County Jail Inmate Lookup Service. I’m surprised because he was caught doing the exact same crap on June 16th and August 1st of this year, and was let out of jail exactly one day later both times.

According to all his enablers posting on facebook, he may be doing some serious time this go-around.

Useless junkie thieves ruining our lives and their families’ lives.
