Spring sports may seem ages away, but Ballard’s Little League is already filling spots for their upcoming season.
Online registration for the spring 2019 season (March to July) is now open for children ages 5 to 17. The league offers pretty much everything that involves a bat and a ball: softball, baseball, and tee-ball are all part of the program.
To be eligible, you must live within the Ballard Little League boundaries, which are north of the Ship Canal, west of 8th Ave NW, south of NW 85th St and east of the Puget Sound. If you live outside of those boundaries, click here to see which league area you live in.
Registrations run through January 31, 2019 — they will charge a late of $20 for sign-ups past January.
The organizers say they had over 400 participants last year — they’re hoping to build on that for this upcoming season. For more info, head over to their website.
