Stuck buses, flickering lights, and snow that just won’t stop

It’s a wild night out there, between buses getting stuck, power outages around the city, and yet another snow day called for Seattle schools.

Alex Sourov took the above photo of buses stuck in Fremont, and meanwhile in Ballard, three buses got stuck at 85th and 15th, as reported by Beth in the My Ballard Group.

Silver, aka Lauri Miller, took the below photo of deteriorating conditions during the afternoon commute in downtown Ballard.

There have been reports of flickering lights in Ballard, but so far, most of the outages have been mostly in Northeast Seattle. As of 7pm, roughly 18,000 were without power, according to Seattle City Light.

Schools are closed again tomorrow, meaning kids will be making up for all these snow days in June.

And so far, no sign of rain, but get ready for slush-mageddon — temperatures are expected to hit the 40s on Tuesday.
