Update: Jewel Hospitality will be switching from compostable cups to house glassware after hearing feedback from customers.
They’ve decided that the popularity of the event justifies bringing in a dishwashing crew and cutting down on waste. Going forward, all pints will be served in the glassware photographed below.

They’ve also decided to offer only in-house food for the rest of the summer, which is detailed in the original post.
Original: Given the popularity of the first few public openings, Jewel Hospitality has decided to extend their Sunday “Pints on the Patio” at The Canal through the end of September.
Jewel Hospitality co-owner Doug Evans says they made the decision for three reasons: the popularity of the first few events, nostalgia, and location. “It also helps to be dog- and kid-friendly,” Evans tells My Ballard.
Social media manager Will Lemke says last Sunday was packed: they had a full house from open to close.
The Sunday openings will be from 12pm to 6pm every weekend, featuring beers from local breweries. They’ll also start offering weekly food options upcoming openings, including $3 pizza slices, lumpia with pork and sweet chili sauce for $7, coconut shrimp for $10, and boat-fulls of fries for $5.
