In memory of Walter’s, the Sunset Hill Community Center will host a night of live music to raise funds to repaint the historic building that houses the center.
Local band Trouble at Home will be playing music from 7pm, and there will be old favorites from Walter’s — ice cream, coffee, beer, and wine will be on sale. Admission to the fundraiser is free.
“In celebration of longtime community gathering place Walter’s cafe, join us for a night of live music and refreshments,” the organizers write.
The festivities are planned from 7pm to 9:30pm on the first floor of the Sunset Hill Community Center (3003 NW 66th St).
