Ballard Little League headed to regional championships

The Ballard/North Seattle Little League team has just won the state championships, and need a little help to compete in the regional championships in California this week.

The baseball team of seniors took the state title last Thursday, and are set to travel to Sacramento to compete in regionals on Tuesday.

“It’s very expensive for then to travel last-minute,” fundraiser organizer Erika Nagy writes. She says that any financial assistance will help offset expenses of housing and food.

Since it was launched three days ago, the Facebook fundraiser has raised $4,000 of the $10,000 goal.

      1. So anyone that posts on a message board is seeking attention? Couldn’t one argue that replying in a snarky way, you are asking for attention?

      2. I’d be interested in seeing a break-down for this league, but not surprised if this league of “woke” parents won’t release this data. Very similar to the Trump tax return situation.

        1. Whether “woke” or not, the parents don’t owe you shit and are not able to change the race of their children even if that is what it takes to make you happy. How about you go to a game instead? How about you find something to do other than posting moronic concern trolling.

You miss your chance last week to ask why a Ballard meeting was being held in Sunset Hill, btw. Many of us hoped you were receiving the help you so desperately need.

          1. If I post I say I’m trying to get attention, if I don’t I get harped at.

          2. How many fossil fuels are burned in the process of you constantly seeking attention on a neighborhood blog?

Maybe you should concern troll about that!

        2. If you’re that interested, go to field and watch some games? Or volunteer on the board and add that question to the registration? I doubt that data is even collected.

    1. probably similar to the “diversity” that’s in the neighborhood since it is a neighborhood league – what’s your point?
