Fleet Feet opens in Ballard

A running shoe store, Fleet Feet, has just opened in Old Ballard at 5404 22nd Ave NW.

Owners Andrea and Brian Morrison are locals, and the Ballard shop is their second location — they also have a shop on Capitol Hill at 911 E. Pine St. Fleet Feet replaces His Word Found Here Bible & Coffee Shop, which closed several months ago.

They’re hosting a big grand opening party on Friday, Oct. 4 at the Ballard shop, starting with a 3- or 5-mile group run at 6pm followed by drinks, food, demo shoes, samples, raffle prizes and “hopefully a dance party.”

The store’s hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, Saturdays from 10am to 6pm, and Sundays 10am to 5pm.

  1. Thanks for call out. Though we do carry trail shoes and put on a 100 mile trail race and a destination trail camp, we are not a trail running store, specifically. In fact, we sell about 95% road shoes and road running gear. We love trail and hope it will grow for us, but we definitely cater mostly to the urban walker and runner, as well as the gym goer. Thanks again! We are so excited to have a store in Ballard. Group runs coming soon…
