Ballard Farmers Market is suspended temporarily

After some questions surrounding the safety of open-air markets, the City of Seattle has suspended farmers markets, meaning the Ballard Farmers Market is cancelled until further notice.

“We did not take this decision lightly and right now we will be looking at creative ways to keep our Farmers and Vendors in business,” the organizers wrote in their Facebook announcement.

This Sunday’s market is cancelled, and there’s no reopening date in mind as of yet — we’ll update if anything changes.

    1. I’m curious what you would have Ballard be like if you were instead BallardKing? You don’t seem to like any of the businesses, you don’t like the library, you don’t like the farmer’s market, you don’t like people moving here. What do you like?
