26-unit apartment building eyed up for NW 57th

A small house in West Woodland may be torn down to make way for a 4-story apartment.

Currently, there’s a red duplex at 929 NW 57TH ST. The design plans call for 26 small efficiency dwelling units, with no parking proposed.

SDCI will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance through April 1. Submit all comments and requests to PRC@seattle.gov or City of Seattle – SDCI – PRC, 700 5th Avenue, Suite 2000, PO Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.

That’s OK. People that live here won’t have cars.

Dumb response. They probably won’t have cars. If you had one would you move here? Jeez.

I live two blocks away. Believe me, most will have cars.

Being a mind numbed robot makes it OK to live here. Zero alternative ideas. No competition of ideas or challenges to existing ones. Just the same old tired lefties and their parishioners.

I hope you are joking here. If not, you’re then OK with freedom being taken away? What else do you feel I can do without pal? Driving is a privilege. A highly cherished and desired 1 at that.

Why are you always so overwrought? Go outside and see how wonderful the city is without cars dominating the landscape. There is no reason we can’t have a city like this when there isn’t a crisis.

Apartments without parking should only be rented to tenants without cars.
