While this Veterans Day is missing the usual parades and events, Brown Bear Car Wash is carrying on their tradition of offering free car washes to all current or former service members.
The closest Ballard Brown Bear is at 5111 15th Ave NW—they’ll be giving away their “Beary Clean” car wash from until 6pm today. The offer works on an honor system; no verification will be required to get the free wash, but drivers should identify themselves when they arrive.
Brown Bear will also donate $1 from every purchase today to Puget Sound Honor Flight, which honors veterans with trips to Washington, D.C. allowing them to visit and reflect at their memorials.
All 27 Brown Bear tunnel washes will be offering free washes: check the Brown Bear website for a list of all participating locations.
