Another fire has caused damage at the former Ballard Blossom location at 1766 NW Market St.
The building has been empty since October 2019, when Ballard Blossom moved to NW 85th St.
Seattle Fire says they believe the fire was intentionally set yesterday afternoon, and have shared their findings with Seattle Police. Detective Patrick Michaud tells My Ballard they’re not currently investigating arson.
This is the second fire at the Ballard Blossom since it’s been vacant; in December 2019, a fire was started next to the back of the building near the parking lot.
We’ll update if we learn anything new from SPD or SFD.
