Several injured in RV fire on Leary Ave.

Updated: An RV burst into flames along Leave Ave. NW near NW 43rd St. this morning, leaving as many as three people injured.

Firefighters say the vehicle was fully involved in flames when they arrived at 9:30 am near Hale’s Ales. They discovered a woman in critical condition and a man in stable condition. Seattle Fire says there’s also a report that another person was rushed to the hospital by a bystander.

The fire was called out as a “multiple casualty incident,” drawing a large response of fire and medic units.

Snow has been falling this morning with temperatures in the low 30s.

Seattle Fire says the fire likely started by either a space heater or candle that was too close to flammable materials.
