New restaurant Harmony & Grain to pop-up in Gather Kitchen & Bar

The owner of Gather Kitchen & Bar has announced he will be flipping the restaurant to become Harmony & Grain at 5605 22nd Ave NW, inside the Commons at Ballard.

They’ll start initially with a pop-up style takeover of Gather for the month of March, trying out their new healthy grain bowl-focused menu.

Executive Chef Ryan Donaldson is at the helm of the pivot, who decided to flip the three-year-old eatery to try something new. Inspired by his love of healthy, flavorful food and impacts from the pandemic, Donaldson is detouring his cuisine for just March at the moment.

Harmony & Grain plans to serve locally sourced and housemade grain bowls that meet the needs of various dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Featuring bowls like the Great PNW Bowl and the Oaxacan Bowl, Harmony & Grain aims to fulfill both flavor and health desires.

Harmony & Grain opens for lunch and dinner on March 1st, from 11 am – 7 pm Monday – Friday for take-out with limited indoor and outdoor seating. For more information on Harmony & Grain and to view their full menu, please visit here.
