A local dog training and boarding business is moving into Ballard: Luna’s Landing Dog Care is taking over the former Ballard Liquor and El Taco Loco location on the corner of NW Market St and 28th Ave NW.
The Ballard location will be Luna’s Landing‘s second location; its current and original home is in Green Lake. Ballard Liquor and Taco Loco recently moved to a new location half a block away.
Luna’s Landing is a truly homegrown operation: Owners Lydia and Colt Lippincott started a doggie daycare at their home while unemployed in the summer of 2020. They opened their first location in January 2021 just across from Green Lake at 7223 Aurora Ave N.
Luna’s offers dog training, grooming, daycare, and dog boarding for dogs. We’ve reached out to the owners to find out what services will be offered at the new location, and will update with more details when we have them.
