Inaugural Ballard Cocktail Trail kicks off in December

A new event is coming to Ballard this winter: The Ballard Cocktail Trail is happening on Dec. 9 all over downtown Ballard.

The Ballard Alliance is launching the Ballard Cocktail Trail to promote local holiday shopping in the neighborhood. Tickets are $45, which will get you craft cocktails from 10 Ballard bars, including the Ballard Cut, Bar Sabine, Hattie’s Hat, Heritage Distilling, Little Tin, Macleods, Matador, Parish NW, San Fermo, and WeRo.

In addition to the participating bars, 10 local retailers will be open late for holiday shopping: Ascent Outdoors, BEGIN, Blendily, Fair Trade Winds, Fleet Feet, Heritage Distilling, Keil Studio, Monster, Push/Pull, and Sweet Mickey’s.

“Ballard has always been a thriving, tight-knit community full of lively events and bustling businesses,” executive director of the Ballard Alliance Mike Stewart said in a statement.

“With COVID-19’s toll on the entire community still lingering, we are thrilled to introduce new and exciting events like the Cocktail Trail that help residents and visitors discover Ballard’s business community and
support neighborhood establishments. Each of our small businesses has a unique story, products, and hardworking owners who contribute to the rich fabric of our community.”
