The Mediterranean restaurant Shawarma Time has opened their new location in Ballard at 5407 20th Ave NW.
Shawarma Time took over the former Plaka Estiatorio, which closed in May 2019 after 11 years in Ballard.
Shawarma Time also operates a location in the University District at 4701 Roosevelt Way NE. Along with serving halal specialties and shawarma, they’re known for kebabs, falafel, hummus, and manousheh, which is a traditional Lebanese flatbread.
