The outdoor free summer concert series in the Ballard Locks botanical gardens is set to return this summer.
As is tradition, the Boeing Employees Concert Band will kick off the series on the opening day for the concert series on June 3. The concerts will be every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. throughout the summer, with the occasional Tuesday performance.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets for seating; the Locks does not provide chairs for audience members.
The free summer concerts extend through Labor Day, Sept. 4. Below is the schedule for the summer.
Admission is free but donations are suggested; 100% of donations pay for the volunteer performances, garden upkeep, and educational programs at the Locks. You can make a donation online or on-site at the Locks.
