Ballard FC—our homegrown semi-pro soccer team—will be hosting the upcoming USL2 playoffs at their home stadium in Interbay.
The USL2 Western Conference Quarterfinals and Semifinals are this weekend, July 21 and 23 at the Interbay Stadium
Ballard FC won the USL2 Northwest Division title in their second season, so they’re out to win it again. They play the second game in the quarterfinals on Friday, July 21 at 7:30 p.m. The two winners of the Friday quarterfinal matches will go on to compete in the semifinals on Sunday, July 23 at 2 p.m. The conference finals are scheduled for July.
“This season has been a total dream. From the results on the field to the continued engagement from the community, we are so excited about how Ballard FC has continued to grow in all aspects. We are honored to be able to once again host playoffs here at Interbay Stadium and put on an amazing weekend for our community,” Ballard FC co-founder and general manager Sam Zisette said in a statement. “We want to bring a USL2 championship home and it starts with a win on Friday the 21st.”
There are single-match and full weekend ticket bundles available online.
On July 21, the Interbay Stadium will open two hours early so attendees can watch the U.S. Women’s National Team play their first group stage match of the FIFA World Cup in the Ballard FC beer garden.
Parking is limited to street parking outside of the stadium, so the organizers recommend carpooling, using ride-share, or taking public transportation.
