Petco in Crown Hill sustained heavy damage yesterday morning when a man broke several windows on the storefront.
A store manager told My Ballard that no one was in the Petco (8728 Holman Road NW) when it happened at 4 a.m. Thursday morning, but the people working at a nearby coffee stand saw a man break five front windows using a crowbar.
The man didn’t steal anything from the store, the manager said in a phone interview Friday.
The store was closed yesterday and this morning but reopened today at around midday with plywood coverings where the windows were broken.
