The annual Sustainable Ballard Festival is returning to the neighborhood this weekend.
Usually held at Ballard Commons Park, this year’s Sustainable Ballard Festival is happening at Loyal Heights Community Center on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Family-friendly activities, local sustainable businesses and nonprofits, and live music will be included. Here’s the line-up:
- 11:30 a.m. Seattle Drum School’s Reign City Rockers
- 12:45 p.m. Skandia Kapell
- 2:15 p.m. Asher Deaver of Old Coast
Pie Bar and Blackstar Kebabs food trucks will be on-site, along with an array of workshops to choose from, including pollinator-friendly gardening, sustainable beekeeping, and a cooking demo from Firefly Kitchens.
The festival will also have apple cider pressing and other DIY projects to get your hands dirty.
