Changes coming to Metro routes 28 and 45

King County Metro is planning for service changes to two bus routes that serve Ballard.

The service changes are part of Metro’s updated schedules coming March 30 to improve reliability for riders.

Route 28, serving Broadview, Carkeek Park, Ballard, Fremont, and Downtown Seattle, will have several new trips added in the morning and afternoon in the direction of downtown Seattle.

Route 45, serving Loyal Heights, Greenwood, Green Lake, Roosevelt, University District, and Seattle Children’s Hospital, will have weekday trip times adjusted to meet higher ridership demands during off-peak times in the morning and evening.

Other routes will service changes include: 5, 10, 21, 56, 57, 75, 118, 119, DART 631, DART 914, RapidRide A Line, and RapidRide H Line. More information about the changes are available on King County Metro’s website.
