Free outdoor concerts at the Ballard Locks to start this weekend

The free concert series at the Ballard Locks is about to get underway, starting on Saturday, June 1.

The concert series take place in the Locks’ botanical gardens. The concerts are free to the public but donations are suggested. All donations go to help pay for the volunteer performances, garden upkeep, and educational programs at the Locks. You can make donations online or on-site during the concerts.

The concerts are every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. starting June 1 through Sept. 2. Attendees are advised to bring their own blankets or chairs. Here’s the schedule:
