This weekend, crews will partially close the intersection of 15th Ave NW and NW Market for overnight paving work.
The roadwork is part of the 15th Ave W/NW and Ballard Bridge Paving and Safety Project. The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) says crews are scheduled to grind and pave the intersection at 15th Ave NW and NW Market St during overnight hours on May 3 and 4, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
On the upside, there are no Ballard Bridge closures planned for this weekend.
Looking ahead, SDOT has scheduled full weekend closures of 15th Ave NW between NW 51st St and NW 50th St on the following dates to continue their work:
- May 9 – 12
- May 30 – June 2
If the weather causes a delay, backup closure dates are set for June 13 – 16 and July 18 – 21.
Drivers should plan for possible delays and adjust travel routes as needed, SDOT says.
