Radiator Whiskey opening July 2 on Ballard Ave

Radiator Whiskey is opening its doors in Ballard tomorrow.

The Ballard location at 5313A Ballard Ave NW is Radiator Whiskey‘s second spot in Seattle—they also operate a restaurant and bar at Pike Place Market.

The Ballard Radiator Whiskey will have a full food menu—they’ll keep dishes like their burnt ends, brisket, loaded tots, and fried pork shank, along with seafood and veggie options. The menu is broken up into three parts: soil, sea, and land.

The “Soil” section features vegetarian-forward small plates like burrata salad, smoky mac and cheese, and vegan mushroom ragù. The “Sea” selection includes seafood dishes, such as grilled octopus, jumbo shrimp with peppers, and classic shrimp and grits. For heartier fare, the “Land” offerings range from braised brisket and steak frites to Cajun chicken pasta and pork shank confit, with rich, savory flavors and creative pairings throughout.

The whiskey menu is substantial, with over 80 types of bourbon, 45 types of rye, and several wheat, Tennessee, Canadian, Scotch, Irish, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Australian options. They also serve beer and wine.

Radiator Whiskey is all ages and will open at 3 p.m. on July 2.
