Seattle Strength & Performance (SSP) is expanding to Ballard this fall with the opening of its fourth gym at 6410 32nd Ave NW in Sunset Hill. The new studio is scheduled to open in mid-October 2025.
The company already operates gyms in Queen Anne, Phinney Ridge, and West Seattle. In a statement about the opening, founder and CEO Chris Travis said the expansion marks “a dream realized for our team and members,” adding that SSP is “honored to become part of the Ballard community.”

The Ballard studio will offer small-group strength and conditioning classes and personal training. SSP emphasizes functional strength and longevity, with programs led by full-time career coaches who tailor training to each individual.
The Ballard location is now accepting waitlist sign-ups ahead of its October opening.
