The Ballard Starbucks (2200 NW Market St) is closing—tomorrow is their last day open.
The store posted a notice on the door, alerting customers to the closure, which is part of a large-scale shuttering of Starbucks cafes. The company plans to close as many as 430 stores nationwide by the end of the year and lay off 900 employees.
Starbucks opened its NW Market St location in 2012.
Other Seattle Starbucks locations on the closure list include the Reserve Roastery on Capitol Hill and the Reserve store in SODO.
