Halloween celebrations are underway across Ballard today.
The Ballard Alliance is again organizing the downtown Ballard trick-or-treating event, featuring more than 50 local businesses handing out candy to kids 12 and younger from 4-6 p.m. today. And of course, homes around the neighborhood are going to be giving out candy—check out the map below (and click here if you want to add your house to the map before tonight!).
A number of Ballard businesses and venues are also hosting themed events:
- Kurfunkle Kids Market is marking its one-year anniversary with weekly raffles and in-store games through Oct. 31, including a “Pumpkin Head Hunt” and “Guess the Marbles.” Customers in costume during the final week of October can also enter to win prizes.
- Mighty-O Donuts is offering a Halloween BOGO deal from Oct. 24–31: customers in costume receive a free donut with purchase. On Halloween, free mini donuts will be available for all kids and costumed visitors.
- Ballard Alki Odd Fellows will open its Trick or Treat Haunted House from 4–6 p.m. on Halloween, geared toward children 12 and under.
- Conor Byrne Pub, The Sunset Tavern, and Tractor Tavern will each host live music events on Oct. 31.
- Ballyhoo Curiosity Shop is celebrating the season at its new location at 5333 Ballard Ave NW, with its original shop offering 25% off during a moving sale.
- Roam will host Nightmare on Dock Street starting at 8:30 p.m. on Halloween with nine DJs and no cover charge.
- Fuego will hold a 21+ Halloween Costume Party on Oct. 31 with a $300 prize for best costume and music by DJ Alfonso.
Happy Halloween! 🎃
