Seattle Parks and Recreation has released its 2026 summer aquatics schedule, including the reopening of the spray park at Ballard Commons Park (5701 22nd Ave NW).
The Ballard Commons spray park is one of 12 spray parks across Seattle that reopened on May 23. It will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Labor Day, Sept. 7.
Seattle Parks and Recreation also announced schedules for wading pools around the city, including several in Northwest Seattle.
The wading pool at Gilman Playground, located at 923 NW 54th St., is scheduled to operate Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m. between July 3 and Aug. 22.
Other Northwest Seattle wading pools include:
- Green Lake Park: Daily, June 27 through Sept. 7, noon to 7 p.m.
- Bitter Lake Community Center: Wednesdays through Fridays, July 1 through Aug. 21, noon to 7 p.m.
- Sandel Playground: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, June 30 through Aug. 19, noon to 6:30 p.m.
- Soundview Playfield: Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays, June 29 through Aug. 23, noon to 7 p.m.
- Wallingford Playfield: Thursdays through Saturdays, July 2 through Aug. 22, noon to 7 p.m.
Seattle’s indoor pools, including Ballard Pool, will remain open year-round.
The city also noted that the Eddie Vine boat launch at Golden Gardens Park is among the Seattle launches currently open for the summer boating season.
