Mike’s Chili Parlor (1447 NW Ballard Way) will host a two-day festival to honor the late Dolly Parton on Sept. 24-25.
Dolly Fest will start on Thursday night with Dolly Movie Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., showing “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” a 1982 musical comedy featuring Dolly and Burt Reynolds.
On Friday at 6 p.m., they’ll have a “Sing-Along Celebration” with Spank Williams followed by Country Mike, who will be DJing Dolly and “Dolly-inspired tunes.”
“Part tribute, part wake, all Dolly, all night!” the event info reads.
