Gov. Inslee eases some restrictions for Washington’s reopening plan

While King County remains paused in Phase 2 of the state’s reopening plan, Gov. Jay Inslee has announced some eased restrictions for libraries, youth and adult sports, movie theaters, and restaurants.

Under the new restrictions, the alcohol cutoff in restaurants has been moved from 10pm to 11pm for counties in Phases 2 and 3. Additionally, members of different households will now be permitted to dine together, and table size allowance has increased from five to six.

Movie theaters in counties at Phase 2 can operate at 25 percent capacity, but attendees will be required to wear masks and maintain six feet of distance between households.

The new guidelines state that libraries will be aligned with museums, allowing some indoor activity at 25 percent capacity. Youth and adult sports guidelines have been eased to align school related and non-school related activities; here’s the full guidance from the state.
