  • Trivia with Head in the Clouds, Reuben’s Brews, 7 p.m.
    • Join us every Wednesday for Trivia Night at Reuben’s Brews taprooms! It’s your mid-week brain refresh with a friendly competitive streak.   • Felting Class: Felted Flower Earrings, Swoon City, 6:30 pm – 8 p.m.
    • In this 90 minute workshop, you’ll learn the basics of needle-felting & make a pair of spring-inspired flower earrings to usher in those sunny days!
  • Swoon City Sportsball Book Club, Swoon City, 6:30 pm – 8 p.m.
    • Can’t stop thinking about Heated Rivalry? We’ve got your back—and your next fix. Come join Swoon City’s Sports Romance Book Club to find your next swoony sports read. Our books span straight and queer relationships, as well as pretty much every sport under the sun.
  • Moomin Movie Night: Moomins on the Riviera, National Nordic Museum, 6:30 pm – 8 p.m.
    • See your favorite Moomin characters on the big screen. This spring and summer we’re bringing your favorite Moomin characters to the big screen with a series of Moomin Movie Nights inspired by our current special exhibitions, Moomins’ Sea Adventures and Tove and the Sea. First up is a family-friendly screening of Moomins on the Riviera (2014) — a hand-drawn animated feature inspired by Tove Jansson’s original comic strips.
  • Community Pig Feast at SkÃ¥l Beer Hall, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
    • Sound the horns… we’re hosting our next Community Feast! Many of the Viking Feasts on our menu are designed for much larger groups, but we realize you don’t all roll in packs of 30! This is your chance to try our heralded Pig Feast with whatever size group suits you.

Friday, May 29

  • Rosemaling with Marilyn Hansen, National Nordic Museum, May 29 – June 13 , 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
    • Enhance your design skills by exploring the rich tradition of Norwegian folk art. This class covers a variety of regional styles, including Telemark, Hallingdal, and Gudbrandsdal. Students will have the opportunity to paint on both decorative and practical objects.
  • Dance Night at Olympic Athletic Club,  7 – 8:30 p.m.
    • Grab your dance partner and join us for a night of movement and fun. You’ll learn the side to side movements of Bachata, a dance that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 1960’s.   • Divine Feminine Mother Archetype Ceremony & Celebration: Honoring the Creative Power Within, Zata Soul Healing, 5:45 pm – 8:30 pm

    • Open since 2000, The Ballard Farmers Market is Seattle’s first year-round neighborhood farmers market selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. The Market has operated along the historic cobblestone stretch of Ballard Avenue NW between Vernon Place and 22nd Avenue.
  • Vera’s Pizza and Bar Drag Bingo, 7:30 – 9 p.m.
    • Join Athena for a fun night of drag bingo with games, prizes, performances, and lots of entertainment. Expect laughs, good vibes, and a little bit of chaos all night long. Grab a drink, bring your friends, and come play bingo with us!
