Seattle firefighters responded Thursday afternoon to a house fire in Fremont that damaged the attic of a two-story single-family home.
According to the Seattle Fire Department, crews were dispatched at about 1:30 p.m. to the 4200 block of Baker Avenue NW after receiving reports of a residential fire.
Firefighters reported a working fire in the home before determining that the fire was burning in the attic. Crews were able to get water on the fire, complete a primary search of the residence, and bring the fire under control.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
