The proposed land use sign just went up right across the street from “The Rocket” on Evanston Ave. in Fremont. The plan is to tear down the 17-unit apartment complex on that block (just north of the Red Door) for a 5-story office building with room for retail and a restaurant. The complex will also include an underground parking garage with 114 spaces. It’s amazing how this part of Fremont has grown over the last few years. More info here.
