Join Sustainable Ballard for a full day of creativity, passion and community-building at the 16th Annual Sustainable Ballard Festival. It’s eclectic, artsy, playful fun aimed at creating a better future. This year’s theme is “Green Steps”, focusing our hands-on exhibits and demos on actions big and small that lead to a reduced carbon footprint.

Festival sponsor Built Green will be there helping you build birdhouses out of campaign signs. The apple press will be up and running. Try some chalk art, make a solar lamp, create wearable art from recycled materials, or join us for a Green Step Dance. Collect green footprints on a treasure map to win a festival t-shirt. This year’s raffle features lots of fantastic prizes including an electric bike from Electric and Folding Bikes Northwest.
