Mysteries of Color II — applied color explorations for any creative medium

Join us for “Mysteries of Color – Intermediate Studies,” a deep and joyful exploration of color interactions/effects to enrich and inspire your creative works in any medium! There’s no prerequisite and anyone is welcome – artist, crafts person, designer, home-maker, or fashionista – regardless of artistic experience or ability.
You’ll experiment with a range of color techniques using wonderful Coloraid paper in hundreds of colors, in-class and in homework studies. Coloraid is a ready-made palette of 314 papers in precise colors, available at Blick Art Materials in downtown Seattle and online sources.

This is a unique course in applied color theory, using the brilliant work by Johannes Itten and Josef Albers as well as many fun and practical studies. You’ll come away with heightened skills in choosing and using colors for your art, home, and clothes – and appreciating the creations of others. Can’t wait to have you join the exploration!
