String and Shadow Puppet Theater

The Fremont Arts Council is proud to present Olympia’s acclaimed String & Shadow Puppet Theater in Seattle for a special one-night-only performance of their giant puppet spectacle, Night at the Grand Opera, as part of their 2026 Northwest tour.

Step into an old European opera house during the golden age of Grand Opera, where towering cardboard sets collapse and unfold to reveal dramas both on stage and off — love triangles, revolutionary plots, art-loving flies, and disaffected vermin, all brought to life in a frenzied, candlelit romp. String and Shadow Puppet Theater crafts stunning performances from cardboard, fabric, and paper mache, blending music, dance, and circus arts into original stories full of wonder.
