Join Sustainable Ballard for a day of creativity, passion and community-building at the 17th Annual Sustainable Ballard Festival. It’s eclectic, artsy, playful fun aimed at creating a better future. This year’s theme is “Green Steps”, focusing our hands-on exhibits and demos on actions big and small that lead to a reduced carbon footprint. Visit food trucks and enjoy live music. The apple cider press will be up and running. Do chalk art, learn to make a solar oven, try the veggie toss or build a bird house. Come out with your family to Loyal Heights Community Center Lawn from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday September 24th and join the fun.
