Táncház: Hungarian Dance House With Live Music

Join us for a Táncház (Hungarian dance house) with live music by Forrás Banda, featuring guest musicians from Canada and the Midwest! This is a rare opportunity to enjoy our full band with a warm and welcoming community of dancers. Beginners welcome–we will show you the basics, or just come to watch and listen!

Hungarian music from Transylvania is one of the most vibrant and compelling traditions in the world, with pulsing rhythms, beautiful melodies, and surprising chord progressions. Schedule:
6 pm – 7 pm: kids’ táncház with instruction (children under 12 get in free)
7 pm – 10 pm: adults’ táncház
