Kavu preparing for big move

The paper is still over the windows at Kavu’s new home, but workers inside are busy painting the walls. Kavu, the outdoor clothing store at 5423 Ballard Ave. is moving to a larger location… right next door to the current location. We’re told the big move will happen within the next three weeks.

Pastry shop closes after seven months

Ballard is losing another business. Brown paper lines the windows and there’s a red glowing “closed” sign above the door at Belle Pastry.
