At the corner of 17th Ave. and 54th St., a new park is taking shape. Workers were planting trees and shrubs there today. It’s all part of the new “Leva on Market” apartment complex, which spans most of that block.
The fence has come down surrounding the large apartment building under construction on Market St. just to the west of Walgreens. And the “now leasing” signs are up. It’s called “Leva on Market.” So far, no word on which retailers will be moving into the street-level spaces.
This Monday night is the first design review meeting, but Avalon has already released its preliminary proposed designs for the apartment and retail building replacing Sunset Bowl on Market St. This is its preferred design of the three proposals.
