Little Orly Candy Company moving

The company that provides carmel corn to Qwest Field and Seattle Center and carmel apples to Safeway is leaving the Ballard/Phinney area.

The Little Orly Candy Company, which is next door to Cafe Bambino on NW 65th St., has outgrown the 3,000 square foot building. Ted Wright has owned the building since 1976 and has decided to move his candy business to Rochester, WA. The brick and green building still has the Cookie Conspiracy sign hanging even though that business closed up shop a few years ago. Wright says he’s talking to a friend about moving his organic donut business to the location. (Thanks Kristen for the tip!)

  1. Nice “hood” metaphor, still it's too bad that they're moving away. I was getting attached to the Little Orly Candy Company's HQ and when I saw their moving boxes in the street I felt like the guys from Smokie “living next door to Alice”

  2. where can we get little Orly chocolate and peanut covered apples??
We used to be able to get them from Safeway stores, but they don’t carry them any more.
