Are you a Ballard business looking for a free bike rack in front of your establishment? You are in luck because the Bicycle Alliance is organizing the installation of free bike racks throughout Seattle.

The bike rack installation is overseen by Seattle Department of Transportation and is part of the Bicycle Spot Improvement Program  that “installs bicycle racks in neighborhood business districts to encourage bicycling for short trips and errands” writes SDOT on their website.

If you are interested all you need to do is contact Dave Janis of the Bicycle Alliance at (206) 224-9252 Ext. 302 or email him at Davej@bicyclealliance.org.

More information about the project can be found at SDOT’s website.
