Filming will continue today for the major motion picture “Laggies,” featuring Keira Knightley and Sam Rockwell. According to the film’s location manager, Dave Drummond, there will be a helicopter flying around Ballard today to get scenic shots of the neighborhood. Drummond says the cast won’t be here, but that the helicopter will probably be out for a few hours sometime during the day.
The filming garnered attention earlier this summer, as they were set up in various locations around Ballard, including a home in Olympic Manor. The film is about a woman who lies to her fiancé about going on a retreat and spends the time hanging out with friends instead, according to IMDb. It’s expected to be in theaters in 2014.
