Hector the cat is still missing

Hector the cat has been missing for three weeks now, and his owner is putting out a last plea for the community to help find her furry friend. Hector went missing from 15th Ave NW and Mary Ave NW in the last week of September. Owner Stacey tells us she’s now willing to give a $500 reward to get him safely home.

Stacey says she’s about to start traveling, and doesn’t want to leave before finding Hector. “We are devastated not knowing if he is ok and forever grateful if someone has been taking care of him, but we do want him home, our house isn’t the same without him,” Stacey writes. She says she’s spent “countless hours” looking for him over the past few weeks. “I am a huge animal advocate working with non-profits and I really truly view my pets as family, and we’re not whole without Hector there with us. The dog and cat look out the window for him everyday, it’s so sad.”

Hector is a 9-year-old male long-haired tuxedo cat that moved to Seattle from Indianapolis with Stacey. He’s an indoor cat, so he has no collar, but is microchipped. He also has health issues; Stacey says he has asthma and an enlarged heart.
