SPD officers are undertaking an investigation after a man was found dead in the alleyway on 22nd Ave NW near Johnny’s Ballard Shoe Repair Store on Thursday morning.
According to the SPD, the initial call was made at 8:36 a.m. during which a caller reporting a man down the alleyway not breathing. Emergency services found the man dead on arrival.
My Ballard reader Stephen emailed in with the above photo. “I don’t know the circumstances. I saw a dead body by the dumpster,” he writes.
At this stage the SPD has not mentioned any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
