Ballard Reuse salvages truckloads of items from Crown Hill Hardware

With Crown Hill Hardware closed after a century in business, Ballard Reuse did what it does best, salvaging many of the store’s unsold items and displays.

“We saved a lot of materials,” explains Pat Finn Coven, general manager of Ballard Reuse. “We brought back a couple truckloads of metal boxes, hardware bins, tools, hardware and miscellaneous materials.”

Many of the items are being put up for sale, and the boxes and bins will be used to display hardware in the Reuse store.

“We’ve already had some customers in lamenting the loss of Crown Hill Hardware but excited to see that we salvaged it,” Pat explains.
